Acabada Active’s website indicates that each of the fabrics made by the company is infused with 25grams of organic cannabidiol (CBD) in strategically selected portions of the fabric so that while the wearer of the clothing works out, the CBD is released gradually and it soothes the aching joints and muscles of the individual. This idea seems great for individuals who would like to stay fit but they have restrictions that prevent them from working out as hard as they would like.
The company also explains that the cannabidiol is in the form of microscopic droplets contained in protective coatings that prevent the premature release of the CBD. Once a buyer wears the infused clothing, the CBD is gradually released while the person is working out.
This controlled release gets the CBD onto the skin and the compound gets to work soothing the muscles and joints.
According to Acabada Active, the technology that they are using isn’t new. Many clothing manufacturers have been infusing fabrics with perfumes and aloe vera, and that is the same technology that Acabada is using for its CBD-infused activewear.
The question that many people may have on their mind when they read about these CBD-infused items of clothing is, for how long does that CBD last? Acabada Active explains that the CBD in their lines of clothing will only remain for a maximum of 40 washes, so once you put the activewear in the washer that many times then you should no longer expect your muscles or joints to be soothed while you work out.
As you may expect, the prices of these fancy CBD-infused clothing items isn’t in the same range as what you would pay for other kinds of activewear at a mall near you. For example, a pair of CBD-infused leggings costs $180.
