Last year’s USA CBD Expo was held at the Miami Beach Convention in Miami and it drew over 13,000 attendees, with hundreds of top-notch vendors and brands. This year, the organizers are looking to outdo themselves. The 2020 Expo will be moving to Las Vegas, and it will take place from February 13-15.
According to show organizers, it is expected to bring in about 14,000 attendees and 300+ of the best CBD vendors in the country to showcase thousands of cannabidiol products, as well as a slew of speakers.
“After seeing the excitement and success behind our Miami event where we hosted more than 13,000 attendees, we feel energized, ready to deliver and exceed expectations for Las Vegas,” says Jason Monti, USA CBD Expo partner.
“Nevada is at the epicenter of the booming legal cannabis market, and CBD has an enormous role in that. The opportunities are endless for both consumers and business owners, and we’re excited about creating a platform that allows so many components of our industry to come together.”
The presenting sponsor, PureKana, will partner with Montkush. The latter is producing an upcoming unscripted television show about the hemp industry, and filming will take place for the duration of the event. According to organizers, the goal will be to ‘capture the key components of the burgeoning CBD and hemp industry from seed to sale.’
The Expo will be graced by pet-specific seminars such as “Vital Parameters of the Current Pet Cannabis Industry” by Zachary Pilossoph, associate medical director of World Canna Health, a global education and information platform, and chief medical officer of Cansultants, a Florida-based cannabis cultivation and genomic innovation project; and “The Right Way to Choose and Use CBD Oil for Your Pets” by Angela Ardolino, founder, and CEO of CBD Dog Health.
A few of the brands in attendance will include Verge CBD which recently partnered with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from MTV’s ‘Jersey Shore’ and CaniBrands with its brand ambassador and Olympic Medalist Dara Torres to celebrate the brand’s launch into Planet 13 in Las Vegas, the world’s largest cannabis dispensary at 112,000 square feet.
Aside from the pet-centered seminars, the event will also be graced by a number of informed speakers including Marty Hale, co-founder, and CEO of CannaGlobe, Joy Beckerman from the Hemp Industries Association, Julian Garcia of the Cannabis Law Society, Antonio Frazier, Vice President of Operations at CannaSafe and Anthony Sullivan, CEO of Montkush.
Such events do a lot to increase public awareness about CBD and other cannabis products, so experts think companies like Plus Products Inc. (CSE: PLUS) (OTCQX: PLPRF) would feel left out if they didn’t attend this expo.
