UK Dad Credits CBD for Helping Him Fight Terminal Cancer

In September 2018, Scott Davis was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Doctors told the 40-year-old father of three that he had only twelve more months to live. Although he was offered palliative care in the hope that it would shrink his tumor somewhat, things were looking grim for the Torquay, Devon native.

“It was September 2018 when doctors told me my cancer was terminal, as the tumor was inoperable. Straight after my diagnosis,” he says, “they started talking to me about palliative care. I was completely gobsmacked when they told me I had roughly a year to live. I was completely fit and healthy, and you wouldn’t have thought anything was wrong with me.”

Davis says that it started a few months earlier with stomach pains that his doctor thought was IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Not long after, he started feeling such excruciating pain that he had to be hospitalized, and that’s when they found the tumor.

“Straight after my diagnosis, a nurse at the hospital told me not to give up and slipped me a leaflet about the benefits of CBD oil and things. That’s when I read online that CBD oil works well with fenbendazole, which is known as dog worming medication, to help with cancer. Lots of people had raved about it and seemed to have had a lot of success, so I thought I’d give it a try.”

“I started taking them both in May after reading online that it could help with terminal cancer. I was up for trying anything at this point, so I started trying it straight away before I even started my chemo. I got the fenbendazole online for £7.50 ($9.74) per week, and I get through one pack each day. It’s a powder, so I normally sprinkle it on my toast. I know it can’t cure cancer, but it has prolonged my life, and I know it can help others too.”

Davis tumor hasn’t grown since he started self-medicating with CBD and fenbendazole, and he jokes that he has exceeded his sell-by date. “There are other people in the same situation as me who have been taking these and found they’ve had amazing results. With the help of my healthy lifestyle, I honestly think I could live to 75. After turning 40 on 25th September, 12 months, and 13 days after being given 12 months to live, I never felt fitter, healthier, and more focused.”

Experts warn that there is no scientific evidence that alternative therapies can actively treat or cure cancer. According to MacMillan Cancer Support, no alternative treatments have been proven to cure cancer or slow its growth.

While experts want solid scientific proof before they sanction the use of any remedy, CBD industry analysts believe it is testimonies like that of Scott Davis that companies like Grapefruit Boulevard Investments Inc. (OTCQB: IGNG) and Green Growth Brands Inc. (CSE: GGB) (OTCQB: GGBXF) derive the drive to work day and night while developing new products.
